Privacy Policy

Effective July 14, 2026

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to tutor your child and show you their progress. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and learning data is never sold. You can delete a child's history — or your whole account — at any time from the Account page, and it's gone.

1. What we collect

From you (the parent): your email address and sign-in credentials, and — if you later add a payment method — a reference to it held by our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.

About your child: the profile you create (first name, age, grade, and the province or state you pick for curriculum alignment) and their learning activity — the questions they see, the answers they give, and the skill levels and progress the tutor infers from them. We don't ask for, and don't want, a child's email, photos, location, or contact details.

2. How we use it

Learning data is used for exactly one thing: running the Service — planning sessions, adapting questions to your child, and showing you progress views and weekly summaries. Your email is used for signing in and for account-related messages (like a payment receipt or a reply when you contact us).

AI processing. Deuron's tutor is powered by large language models. To generate and grade questions, the relevant learning context (for example, the question and your child's answer) is processed by our AI provider under commercial terms — it is not used to train their models and is never used for advertising.

3. What we never do

  • No selling or renting of personal or learning data — to anyone, ever.
  • No advertising, ad networks, or third-party marketing trackers.
  • No public child profiles — a child's data is visible only inside your household's account.
  • No collecting more than the Service needs to work.

4. Who can see your child's data

The parents and guardians in your household — each with their own login — see the same children and progress. On our side, access is limited to what's needed to operate the Service and help you when you ask for support.

We share data with service providers only as needed to run Deuron: our hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, our AI provider (as described above), our email provider (to deliver account messages), and our payment processor (to handle payment). Each processes data on our instructions and can't use it for their own purposes.

5. Children's privacy

Children use Deuron only under a parent or guardian's account. Accounts, consent, and payment all belong to the parent — we don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children beyond the learning activity that happens inside a session the parent set up. Consent given by either household parent applies on behalf of the household.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep learning data while your account is active so the tutor can keep adapting and your progress history stays intact. Deleting a child's learning history, or the entire account, is available anytime under Account settings — deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately. Billing records may be retained where the law requires it.

7. Where your data lives

Deuron is built and operated in Canada. Data is stored with cloud providers that may process it in Canada or the United States; wherever it's processed, the protections in this policy apply.

8. Your rights

You can access what we hold about your family (most of it is visible right in the app), correct it, or delete it. If you have a question or request this page doesn't cover, contact us through the Contact button — it goes straight to the founder's inbox.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and we'll flag the change in the app. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
